Doug LaSala is a local clarinetist/saxophonist who enjoys performing different flavors of jazz. In addition to leading Lititz’ own Moonlighters Big Band since 2000, he also can be seen performing with Ben Mauger’s Vintage Jazz Band, and various groups in Lancaster County. He also has his solo act, where performs 150+ tunes from the early 1900s up through today on saxophones, clarinet, and EWI (Electric Wind Instrument), using a computer and his PA system as his “band”. Doug has performed throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Connecticut. Locally, he can be heard performing his solo act at La Piazza Italian Restaurant and Sports Bar every Monday night at 6pm.
